Estilmor, the City of Shipwrecks, stands defiantly overlooking a notoriously stormy stretch of sea known as the Drownyard. The Great Temple of Orlene rises as an immensely tall lighthouse warning passing ships, lest they share the grim fate of the many rotting wrecks in the rocks below. Although their primary duty was rescuing sailors and salvagers from the sea, ever since the Cataclysm, the city's Stormwatch have also been tasked with defending the Enclave from "the Drowned" attacking out of the depths. Estilmor's people are grim and dour, forced to be like the stone weathering the storm. The large populations of dwarves, elves, and ogruls is a testament to their grit.
Estilmor takes its inspiration and influence from the Medieval Baltics, early Slavic, the Men of Laketown and other "northern" fishing communities, with garb meant to withstand relentless rain and wind like heavy cloaks and oil-skin boots.
This Enclave is not fallen. Estilmor's primary defense is the Stormwatch, a dedicated fighting force that fights off “the Drowned”-- the Bloodless crawling out of the sea, especially from the wrecks along the craggy coast.
