"Expect divinity, dear thing... And then blood from the throat of the very world. I will satisfy you as it pleases us both."

Aezhyrrael, black prince of Zhaine, is a corsair prince from Helevorn. A sublimely horrible specimen of his kind, his blood is some of the eldest, scarred over flesh and sinew by centuries of torture willing. The kajal of the Black Rite coloured as Zhaine's blood rain marks his skin in fated threat and reminder to those of blood lesser.

A reminder of what he is. How he knows the ecstasy of abyss and craves its satisfaction in turn for pleasure or for death. How he desires as his fated blade- his fated lover- does as deeply as its handler soul-bound.

He would see his shared desires fulfilled, slaked in suffering and orgy within the black spires of Helevorn or in the deepest sea pitch in blood.

It is the ancient sword Mornfeir that guides his hand, and he would see any killed for it in disobedience. The blood of his kin belong to him alone in divinity.

Aezhyrrael belongs to the kabal of the Black Rite.

"I cannot kill you. And so you are mine. Unsullied. This beginning with your name- if you are to serve me without brands to bear." He speaks quickly, mind unravelling strings.

"You-- will obey me. I will not touch you."

weapon name
Mornfeir

name meaning
Mornfeir: dark bane

Mornfeir, the sword, was one bloodwoven at the feet of the Starwell itself before the Dark Days and then chilled in the blood of the void. It was given to a sire of Zhaine and taken by him to the grave of the abyss on its return to Valurn.

As it was fashioned by Zhaine's blood, to Zhaine's blood it would ever return- and far in the Hraen it would rest amongst whispers and lost souls and be lost to abyss for centuries thus.

Few know its true location. Fewer still can make it beyond the sea alive while the Fathom waits eagerly for eldar souls above. With only a psyarch could any survive.

Oh, these words? I feel a kinship that transcends the bond of steel and hand.

I recall my bite. This is a symphony for the senses...

It was Aezhyrrael alone to which Mornfeir answers. Mornfeir alone to which he answers in turn- to which he dove through abyss to claim as his own. Their promised blood shared amongst one another and the blade's whispers worthy to no other.

Calix felt Mornfeir’s full, chilling focus upon him.

He is dying.

Yes. Calix answers.

Your anger lends a satisfying heat to my core. Could you fuel a precise wrath?

Calix swallows, eyes lifting. I would burn everything for him.

There's a sense of weighing, of calculating. Then, a decision, sharp and absolute, slices through Calix's fear.

For him, then, direct me, for the breath of malice approaches.
