The language of the dark elves. Draihir is a relatively new dialect, not entirely a language, that comes from Valhir. Many understand it to be a bastardised language that adopts many other fonts and sounds depending on with whom you share words.

A standardised, or "city-spoken", dialect exists and is the most common: comprised of slang and Valari prose twisted to the needs of less words meaning more.

Draihari Names.

Draihari names are sometimes more abrasive and the sounds vary depending on dialect. While their names are still very melodic, they often make use of harsh sounds and more dreadful concepts and meanings as an attempt to come across as beings to be feared.

This is a result of their culture being borne of the terrors of the dark days and their desire to project their ferocity at would-be enemies.

Apostrophes are often added to differentiate similar sounds or syllables.

Examples:

Ashkar, Herel, Naen, Khainan, Halath, Thorne, Morthyr, Khys, Varath, Arughoth, Varros, Voss, Moreth, Syrannon, Drake, Meraine, Xirat, Alduin, Nalor, Naedra, Vhaskar, Syraeth
