The language of the high elves. Valhir is one of the oldest languages in the known world, if not the oldest. It was once simply known as the elven language, or Aelahir, as most elves once spoke it.
Many Valari still speak a more succinct version of the original Aelahir language and Draihir borrows much of its lexicon from it.
Important things to consider is that in elvish tongues, a's, e's are short, i's, u's are long.
Valari Names.
Valari names are often melodic and elegant. Older names tend to be more descriptive and syllabic. The Elven fascination with the beauty of existence had led to names that focus on lovely traits, skills or things they value in nature.
Examples:
Caelthor, Vaelindar, Aldrethas, Astrandar, Vaeroan, Miruin, Ivasaar, Frindir, Nethelior, Arawaith, Faedoron, Vaeranthir, Dianthos, Faelorn, Mailoren
