Assuming the party is not on an established road, each day one party member will roll a Wilderness Lore check to see if they get lost.
Getting lost means the party loses a day of travel and all party members must reduce their resource die by one.
Random Encounters
During travel, random encounters may occur. Each day, one party member will roll a Perception/Detection check to see if they notice a potential encounter before it happens.
Speed
Assuming other factors are not in play, the party moves at the following rate:
