Death

Death is often viewed as the most final of endings but all in Tellus know that there is something after it. It is not final, it is merely the transition from Mortal to Soul in the Afterworld. Of course the onslaught of the Cataclysm means that there is Life after Death for a certain chosen few who become Twiceborn. Death is the ultimate end and beginning, it is the end of one phase and simultaneously the beginning of the next.

Endings

The setting of the sun, the last snow fall, the final page of a book, the silence at the end of a play. All endings, great and small, are equal. Endings lead to new beginnings and all endings are a transition from one state to another. Endings should not be viewed as a finality or a sad thing, they simply are and are a step in the path.
