Starngard

Overview

Starngard, the City of Spires, stretches toward the heavens from the snow-covered mountains of the Spine. Its observatory-towers once stood alongside the Great Temple of Tolgra as the jewel of Erden and the home of the royal court. At it's height, Starngard was the foremost center of learning on the matters of the stars and the richest source of gems and crystals, especially those used in magic. The glittering spires and their celestial arrays were toppled in the Cataclysm by a volcanic eruption. The heavenly bodies that once enthralled its people fell upon the mountainside to form the Darkstar Fields. Many Stellari once called this city home, though what remains of Starngard's polite and courtly people are scattered across the Enclaves.

Starngard takes its inspiration and influence from the popular images of "magical cities" in the sky, the high elves in various media, the Water Tribe of the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe, and channeling the natural wonder of the Aurora Borealis. The garb of its people evokes Nordic styles with furs, fine trim and borders, hues of blue and gold, and adornments of metal, glass, and crystal designed to catch the light.

Is this Enclave Fallen?

This Enclave is fallen. Starngard fell during the Cataclysm when a massive volcano erupted in the nearby mountain range, raining down molten rock and hellfire on the once beautiful city.

Reminder: Your player character cannot be from Starngard, as it fell during the Cataclysm
