Digital Telepathy

Creature Feature

Blue, Aura, Tech

Range 30 ft.

A glitch gremlin can communicate telepathically with digital devices and with other creatures that can do so (such as other glitch gremlins). This allows the glitch gremlin to attempt Computers checks to access any computer within the telepathy's range.

Digital Telepathy is a special form of telepathy that targets digital systems and creatures with the same ability, not just organic minds. In Starfinder 2e it appears on computer glitch gremlins (botnibs) and certain cosmic tech‑adjacent creatures, sitting alongside standard telepathy and techsense.

Communication channel: The creature can mentally “talk” with digital devices in range (usually 30 feet for botnibs, up to 100 feet for some cosmic species). It can also communicate with any creature that has its own digital telepathy.

Remote interface: A creature with digital telepathy can attempt Computers checks to access or manipulate any computer within range as if it were directly interfaced, subject to normal access rules and DCs.

No mind‑reading: Like normal telepathy, this doesn’t automatically grant the ability to read thoughts; it conveys no more information than speech or direct system feedback unless another effect says otherwise.
