Techsense is a special sense that detects creatures and objects with the tech trait within a listed range, functioning either as a precise or imprecise sense depending on the creature.

Imprecise techsense tells you that something technological is present and roughly where it is, but you still need another precise sense (sight, echolocation, etc.) to target it without penalty.

Precise techsense is as sharp as sight: it provides exact locations and can be used to target tech creatures and objects without any additional sense.

Techsense works like other special senses: It has a range (often 30–100 feet); outside that, it detects nothing. It only registers things with the tech trait: robots, AIs, powered armor, turrets, tech‑tagged creatures, and equipment. It’s always “on” unless an effect explicitly suppresses it.
