Ancestry,
Source Galactic Ancestries pg. 9
Your ancestry has a powerful connection to one or more magical traditions.
Choose one 1st‑rank spell from your ancestry’s magic entry.
You can cast that spell once per day as an innate spell at 1st rank.
The spell’s tradition (arcane, divine, occult, or primal) is specified per ancestry in its Standardized Ancestry Feats listing; Ancestral Magic always uses that tradition.
When you take Ancestral Magic as higher‑level ancestry feats, it scales:
If this is your 9th‑level ancestry feat, choose a 3rd‑rank or lower ancestry spell and cast it once per day as a 3rd‑rank innate spell.
If this is your 13th‑level ancestry feat, choose a 5th‑rank or lower ancestry spell and cast it once per day as a 5th‑rank innate spell.
If this is your 17th‑level ancestry feat, choose a 7th‑rank or lower ancestry spell and cast it once per day as a 7th‑rank innate spell.
Special
If your ancestry lists multiple spells in its magic entry, you can select this feat more than once; each time, you must choose a different spell.
As a standardized ancestry feat, Ancestral Magic replaces its generic “Ancestry” trait with your actual ancestry trait (Android, Vaelen/Elf, Vividi/Gnome, etc.).
In practice, ancestries define which spells and traditions they use. For example, the Elf entry in Galactic Ancestries offers a primal menu that might include wisp ally, verdant code, discharge, and overload systems at different ranks.
