The army of Cathringia is somewhat divided, and often reliant on mercenaries due to this. As each ruler in Cathringia holds the control of their own forces, it is often left to the ruling monarch in each kingdom to defend their land against hostile forces, with the Kasric only able to raise something resembling a national force against an exterior threat to Cathringia, or with the permission of the Kings to create a military expedition against another state.
However, due to its makeup, this national force is often divided as the soldiers tend to hold their loyalties to their locality rather than Cathringia as a whole. However, possible force of around 10,000 men consisting of 5,000 footmen and 5,000 cavalry should is realistic should an expeditionary force be required. This however, is not the full force of Cathringia as each King/Prince themselves typically has around 5,000 men, with about 2/3 being infantry and 1/3 cavalry, for a total of about 25,000 men but it is almost possible for these to be raised as a united force with each King preferring to keep their men at home unless the need be dire.
However, this force is well-trained, with each king having potential conscripts undergo training yearly to ensure that what they lack in numbers they make up for in skill and discipline, being only slightly inferior to the legions of Auresia in that regard. Additionally, mercenaries are common in Cathringia, often hired against Ogkan bandits and are becoming an increasingly frequent sight in the services of lord at all levels of society.
On Top of this is the semi-autonomous Knights of Cathringia, the Kasric's personal force, situated at the Castle Soundschloss, itself composing of 2,000 knights.
The navy of Cathringia is, similiary to Scyltheld, small and weak. With the journey across the Thalhafus Sea leaving little desire for a return to the waves. Therefore, the navy is entirely composed of the fleets of the Kings and local lords. With a merchant ship much more likely to be spotted in the docks of Kaisricgard than a warship.
However, the navy is not non-existent, with Cathringia having around 5 Carracks, 150 Cogs, 100 Hulks and 50 Galleys when tallied together, although this is by no means a united force, with these ships being combined from the fleets of around 15 lords.
