The Alaur Elves are white-skinned, blue-haired elves that live in forests close to the sea. They have a long tradition of seafaring and are known as exceptional boat-makers for their kin. The Alaur are excellent swimmers, fishermen, and mariners, and they worship the ancient Amar of the oceans. They often offer gifts by placing them on the water, and some make long voyages at sea in solitude to find their inner self. They travel more than other elves and enjoy singing more than speaking, which they only do when necessary.
The Alaur Elves were the only elven lineage to live in lasting peace with the Aquats, sharing the coasts and seas in relative harmony. Their culture is deeply rooted in music, seafaring, and long voyages. This bond with the ocean shaped their identity and forged a natural alliance with the aquatic races.
