The Forklands

The Forklands are the lands southeast of Vitallia’s mainland, named after the great Fork River that divides the Human Kingdoms. Stretching from the Lion Mountains in the north to the southern regions, they encompass the kingdoms of Lothen, Igros, Sarta, and Sol.

The War of the Fork - 200-208 AC

Lothenian armies aggressively extend their influence to the east, securing territories along the banks of the Fork River. The Lion army encounters minimal resistance, gradually assimilating the kingdoms of Igros, Sol, and Sarta into its dominion. This strategic expansion enhances Lothen’s territorial control and strengthens its presence in the eastern regions.

The War of the Fork - 15th of June - 5th of August, 350 AC

In 350 AC, under the reign of Eru Whiteshield, the kingdom of Sarta declared independence from Lothen, sparking the War of the River on the northern borders where the four kingdoms converge. Subsequently, all four kingdoms joined the conflict, leading to Lothen’s loss of control over the united human realms.
