In the aftermath of war and strife, the first fragile bonds of unity were forged. Trade routes between the races opened, and necessity pushed former enemies toward cooperation. This gradual shift led to the formation of the Sevenfold Commonwealth, a political and economic alliance built upon mutual survival.

To ensure order and structure, the Law that Folds in Seven was established—a set of guiding principles enforced across Sevenfold, the newly christened name for what was once Arnewynd. These laws sought to regulate trade, justice, and diplomacy, binding the races under a shared system.

At the heart of this new order stood the Council of Seven. Each race’s capital was given the right to nominate two representatives, from which seven councilors were elected. An eighth figure was then chosen as the Council Leader, tasked with guiding the Commonwealth’s vision.

Among the most instrumental figures in shaping this era was Allura Hershkowitz, a Deerfolk diplomat whose unwavering resolve laid the foundation for the Commonwealth’s governance. Likewise, Fenrir Wrymslayer, a fierce Wolffolk warrior, brokered uneasy peace among reluctant factions, his name carrying both reverence and fear.

However, not all Therans embraced this vision of unity. Some clung to the belief that their races should remain distinct, rejecting the notion of governance under a shared banner. Over time, these separatists—either by choice or coercion—migrated to the Bristlefur Highlands, a remote, untouched region in the northeast where the old ways could persist.

With the Sevenfold Commonwealth, the first true steps toward lasting cooperation had been taken. Yet, deep-seated wounds and unspoken tensions still lingered. The road ahead would be long, and the ghosts of the past were far from exorcised.
