Humanity’s relentless pursuit of innovation saw Magitech evolve at an unprecedented rate, far surpassing what other races had achieved. The discovery of magical gemstones scattered across Ignisar—remnants of the Kaleidoscope—acted as a catalyst, accelerating their advancements.

These gemstones, infused with raw arcane energy, became the foundation of a new era of warfare, allowing humans to craft weapons, armor, and siege engines that could rival even the most potent spellcasters. Recognizing the potential of this technology, the Dwarves, who had long harbored resentment toward the High Luminary, allied themselves with Humanity.

The Kingdom of Arnewynd, feeling threatened by the relentless expansion of the High Luminary, was the first to fully integrate Magitech into its everyday life and military. With the development of arcane-powered cannons, shield generators, and mechanized war engines, the alliance of Humans and Dwarves finally had the means to push back against the overwhelming magical supremacy of the Luminary.

However, the rise of Magitech also created tension with the Kaleidosian Dragonfolk. The humans and dwarves, eager to claim more of the powerful gemstones caused by the Kaleidoscope occasionally clashed with the Kaleidosian, whose sworn duty was to protect the Gemspires and their sacred lands.

These conflicts remained brief and restrained—neither side willing to escalate into full-scale war—but an unspoken hostility lingered. For now, both sides kept their distance, knowing that a true confrontation would only cause more problems. What was once an inevitable conquest now became a drawn-out struggle, as humanity fought to reclaim control over its lands, shifting the balance of power in the ongoing conflict.
