The lizardfolk, or Saurians as they're also called, are lizard-like humanoids native to the jungles of Kildar, specifically around Scalepoint.
The saurian lizardfolk are thought by some sages to be distant cousins of dragonborn and kobolds. Despite their resemblance to those other scaled folk, however, lizardfolk are their own people and have lived in the jungles of Kildar for as long as folk can remember.
Rarely leaving their jungles, to see a Lizard-person wander the streets, would often lead to mistaking them for a dragonborn.
