Northtower Temple

A small, light stone building decorated with numerous flower engravings, some familiar and others exotic, stands at the end of a tree-lined lane. The front door is made of dark wood.  Flowering climbing plants cover the building. From early spring to late autumn, the small building is covered in lush green leaves and bright colours. Their sweet perfumes mingle with those of the pretty wildflowers that grow in the open meadow surrounding the building. During the day, the area is filled with cheerful butterflies, bees and dragonflies, while at night moths and fireflies lazily drift by.

The inside of the small building is bright from the glass ceiling and the floor has been left uncovered. It feels almost like a garden shed or greenhouse – there is an earthy smell, and sound does not really travel. On either side of the space are dark wooden shelves and drawers filled with seeds, bulbs, corms, tubers and rhizomes.

A dark wooden altar stands beneath a bow of more climbing flowers and is covered with fresh produce, flowers, tools and seeds, left behind as offerings. Behind the altar is a big, brightly coloured glass stain window filled with flowers and framed by the shadows of the vines on the outside. The window casts the whole space in a warm glow.

Behind the Potting Shed is a little produce garden, and a hilly area where you can see several grave markers and hills the size of tombs, including the wrought iron gate that leads towards Arthur Cobblesworth's tomb.
