Description

A type of Granite unique to northern Dunshar. Its deep black shade makes it a highly sought after construction material. It can only be found within volcanic regions, often buried deep down near pockets of lava and other hazards of the deep.

Significance

Difficult to obtain and expensive to transport, trues black granite is used in the construction of buildings for only the most affluent individuals or organisations. More commonly seen within the castles and halls of Dunshar where the stone is both sourced and considered a status symbol, but can also be found across Salaige thanks to merchants and groups such as the Orisk Trade Alliance.
