"Not yet." He says bitterly into the rain-dipped smog, drowning a little.
Born Francis Vane Tremblay-Blanchard.
Forensic analyst, netrunner and cybersecurity specialist in the private sector. Age 38. Height 5'11". Eyes grey. Hair black. Bilingual [Eng, Fr]. Nationality Canadian-American. Weight 155lbs.
As an adult, he is antisocial, misanthropic and performatively unpleasant. Holding his superiority close like it was all he had- and perhaps it is.

Tremblay grew up in semi-rural Quebec to a French-Canadian father and American mother. He was a softspoken child with peculiar interests and intelligent, computative mind. Though he never received a diagnosis, his mother, a psychiatrist, suspected him of ASD, perhaps bitingly.
His darkest days hovered during his years serving briefly in the RCAF as an analyst, declared medically unfit with adjustment disorder. He would tell you that taking orders wasn't for him.
He moved in briefly with his father, by then divorced and living in America. He last spoke to them sometime in his thirties.
"Blanchard is a brilliant technician, possessing an uncanny ability to solve complex problems and innovate solutions. However, his abrasive personality and disregard for social norms often alienate colleagues and hinder teamwork."
He'd only formed one romantic relationship in his life during his time working private sector with an augmented coworker- for whom he served as a case worker and advisory partner. Such elation was new to him and, gripping it too hard; It didn't end well (bloody) and Francis has never quite recovered.
His sardonic, sarcastic and arrogant manner has cost him all friendships he's ever possessed and has certainly not made any new since.
Despite all, he is a talented programmer and cyberengineer. His work frequently sees him as a sanctioned netrunner for Neurosync but later freelancing on the darkweb.
Fiction:

No, you won't get the best of me 'cause I don't believe in diamonds in the rough. You can't set me free, I don't believe in a thing called love.
