Overview

Nuala is the Spring Maiden, goddess of spring, growth, and renewal, and the daughter of Brighan the Earth Mother. Her return from winter each year is the thaw itself: the first green of the season, the bloom on the bough, the warmth that wakes the seed. Where Brighan is the whole turning land, Nuala is its young and tender season. She is gentle and glad but not soft, for the same growth she brings can split stone and crack the hardest frost.
