Pallasia is Imperion's northern coast, a province of hill-country and harbor towns, academies and legions, with the great city of Corinthia at its heart. Greco-Roman to the core, it prizes learning and military service alike, and sends both scholars and soldiers out across the empire.
Pallasia runs along Imperion's northern shore, where the Silvermist Sea meets a land of rolling hills, river valleys, and old forest. Corinthia, the province's largest city, stands among the inland hills, while the harbors of Calyndra Bay and Nortia work the coast to the northeast. The Selenidris Forest spreads in the east near Portus Sylvaris, the Calyndra River and the River Athrium water the country, and Mount Tragias rises near its center.
Pallasia lives on farming, trade, learning, and the craft of war. The plains around Trellsen and Loereth feed the province, the ports of Calyndra Bay and Nortia work the northern coast, and Corinthia anchors its trade and industry. Its academies of philosophy, rhetoric, and the arts draw scholars from across the empire.
Pallasia is governed by a council of its leading men, senators, commanders, and high priests, and Corinthia, its largest city, is where much of that business is done. Each city keeps a strong voice in its own affairs, all answering to the empire's law.
