Imperion is a republic on the continent of Orethar, built on tradition, law, and civic duty. Its disciplined legions and respected courts have made it one of the leading powers of the continent, and its cities are known across Orethar for their architecture, academies, and public works.

The Realm Today

Imperion's noble houses and the Senate are locked in a quiet struggle over power and money. House Aurelia and House Valens spar over military spending while House Faustus presses for schools and public welfare; for now, Consul Septimus Ventris keeps the peace. Trade and mountain mining have made the republic rich, but the wealth pools at the top, and inflation and protest are rising in the cities. The fast-growing Empyreal Faith is straining relations with the older temples.

Threats

Unpredictable dungeons have begun appearing across Imperion without warning, each with its own dangers. At the same time, chaos-worshippers drawn to Xyroth are spreading unrest from within. Between the two, Imperion's leaders have their hands full.
