"Count" Grimshank - ogre who took the castle

Session 1: break out of prison cells with the help of some mice (who are supposedly the former residents of the castle), found Aelira locked in a hidden room. She lets us know that she convinced Grimshank he would find his true love, hence us being kidnapped. Supposedly one of us may be his intended and the rest would be the feast. Search hag's room and find a journal; learn that she would rather marry Grimshank herself than have him wed Aelira, though she believes that Aelira would be a good leader. Come up with a plan to get us all out of this tricky situation (have ogre marry hag, aelira give them rule over the forest lands). Retrieve our magic items. Return to prison cells.

Session 2: Hag visits us in the cells, we tell her our plan to persuade Grimshank to return the castle to Aelira, but let him rule over the forest. Hag tells us she doesn't want to align with the vampires, but not sure of the intentions of other groups. Asks us to investigate the other groups to find out who would be good to align with, she lets us out of the cells to explore. I'm pretending to be part of the "Shadows of Ash" with zaza and cantus and linnolaithe. Linno and I go in search of the land deeds and titles.

Session 3: did not find any land deeds or papers. met up with Thrynnara on the plan and to tell her the info we found on the vampires. mostly shenanigans.

Session 4: Met with Aelira to prepare for proposing a different plan to grimshank. She agreed and wrote up documents for land titles, a request for a noble title to be given to grimshank, and assignment him the role of ruling her lands while she remains living in the capitol. I helped make copies of the documents. Kaluulah rolls mythically to find smut in the library to kill time. Linno got Zibby to set some vampire traps (garlic in the seats, holy symbols on the silverware), and Vasuki convinced the ghosts to helps sabotage the vampires as well.

Session 5: Zaza and Cantus planted the seeds of 'vampire betrayal' in the mind of Grimshank via tangential conversation. Vasuki seduced a Naga and Linno seduced a trio of changelings. Geekat told Caithyra his full name and his 'mission', Cantus mental-messaged him to shut up. Grimshank and Thrynnara got married, Aelira agreed to let them run the manor and lands in her name as she plans to return to the city. Vampires left pissed off.
