Appearance

Abyssal Serpents are large, strong snakes that come in a variety of shades, such as a pale white, various forms of brown, black, and dull gold. Most of them have non uniform patterned scales, making for an aggressive appearance. Some have small growths and extra appendages, common to the abyss, such as small horns, or extra plates of scale and bone, reinforcing their bodies.

Abyssal serpents are Medium creatures, but can be up to 20 feet long, and have muscular bodies.

Info

A dark serpent of the abyss, known to live within and near its black waters. Its body is muscular and strong, and its scales are disorderly and chaotic, showing its abyssal nature plainly. They are seen as an omen of evil. They are symbols and facilitators of a profane form of rebirth, as they are said to feast upon souls found drifting through the abyss. They have an innate ability to understand Erdelis, as well as Draconic.
