Named for the cozy holes and charming warrens in which they make their homes, the burrowfolk are nurturing and affectionate by nature. They are noted for wanting to take care of the people around them. This predisposition lends itself equally to the assassin’s trade as it does the healer’s path. Burrowfolk culture holds that suffering benefits no one, and so they tend to ensure it is as limited as possible.
The Burrowfolk lineage encompasses the popular ideas of halflings, gnomes, hobbits, similar folk; although, height is not a defining characteristic or restriction. Some aesthetic choices include small pointed ears (more subtle than an elf’s), fun headwear especially pointy hats, rosy cheeks, and hairy covers for the hands or feet.
