Unlike core rules traits, creature traits, or weapon traits imported from PF2e or SF2e, these tags are not primarily about universal system structure; they tell the table that an option belongs to a specifically Starfall subsystem, faction network, cultural identity, or cosmological framework.
In practice, Starfall Setting Trait Tags will most often mark material tied to the Rift, Devotion, faction or guild access, the Yom economy, black-market circulation, and similar canon-specific systems.
Cosmological identity — Is this thing tied to the Rift, its corruption, or its altered replacement for traditional planar metaphysics?
Value and ideology — Is this creature, item, or effect shaped by one or more Devotion colors?
Institutional access — Does this option belong to a guild, faction, black-market pipeline, or restricted social network?
Economic or cultural role — Is this object or rule element part of Starfall’s survival economy, nomadic culture, or salvage ecosystem?
