Frostberry

Key Information

It is a thornless perennial up to 30 centimetres (12 inches) tall, woody at the base, but very thin higher above the ground. Flowers are in groups of 1–3, with petals that are pink, red, or magenta. The fruit is deep red or dark purple, consisting of 10 to 30 drupelets. The plant has an unusual hardiness to frost and cold weather conditions.

Traits


Frostbite. These berries can be juiced and applied to a weapon to create an ice-cold bite to the weapon. Target must make a DC (5 + Apothecary skill of the person who prepared the poison) Cons. Save at the end of each turn for 4 turns. On a failed save, the target takes an additional 2d8 cold damage. The application on weapon only lasts for one successful hit.
