Tine is a type of vine found throughout most shaded environments. It grows down from tree canopies, city walls, and cavern ceilings where it can catch the most moisture. It branches every which way, creating an intricate web tipped with thorny points. The colour of the vine varies depending on the amount of nutrients it has, and can be used to determine an area’s healthiness. Generally, though, most plants are pale green with blue hanging nests of flowers. Tine is often used to make rope, nets, and other cordage, and the poor use it to make clothing.
