Teiws, known as Téyss to the Orkfjarric or Teovo to the Auresians, is the god of kings, justice, and law. He embodies the invisible bonds of society—the weight of an oath, the legitimacy of a crown, and the cold impartiality of the scales. Where Varangr is the warmth of the sun, and Auðmaer is the pull of the tide, Teiws is the unyielding hammer of order that holds the world together.

He manifests as a stern, armoured king seated upon a throne of stone, holding a cloth-bound sword and iron scales. His holy symbol, the Balanced Scales, is worn by judges and lawgivers who dress in black and crimson. Among his followers—monarchs, magistrates, and commanders—he is the "Regent of the Gods," the one who ensures that every action has a lawful consequence.

Teiws’ influence is found in the signing of treaties, the crowning of rightful heirs, and the silent vigil of those who keep their word at any cost. He speaks in finalities, valuing precedent and truth over the fickleness of mortal emotion. His champions are the "Oathfast," unshakable warriors who shield the weak with the rigid structure of the law.

In myth, Teiws was appointed to lead when the first gods departed. When his nephew Ættǫrr defied the divine decree by sailing to Poseia and fathering the race of Man, it was Teiws who sat in judgment. He did not strike Ættǫrr down in anger, but bound him to the Isles with chains of cold iron. Teiws remains in the Hall of Judgement, where the banners of crimson and silver flutter in an eternal wind, weighing the souls of the dead against the laws of the High Pattern.
