The name given to the squeaver that Torin torched with a sacred flame in Ep 19.
The Black Worm
A mysterious creature from far to the West. Is it a child dragon? An elder beast? A being of madness? Found alone on a vessel by “Ilk.” It emits secretions that expand the mind. Torin experienced a vision of his past this way.

Creatures made of shadows. They’ve lost all physical form and eat light. Darklings didn’t start out as darklings. Th’Marck says their story is a sad one (see Shadowless).

The first mortal race. Created by Solarus ~4750 years ago.
Enari
Race similar to wood elves.
Evenari:
The shadowfolk. Enari who are cursed to live in perpetual twilight.

Race similar to dragonborn.
Kyribden
A fearsome sea creature who serves the Tangled One. Somehow related to the obelisk in Gavra. Silas seemed to summon the creature by using the dark scepter on the tower before the attack on Gavra.

Nana
Vyr’s bat companion. A second-tier bat that likes bananas. Received from Bathlamule for all the foot traffic Vyr sent to his shop.
Niels
One of Bjorn’s wolves. Was dead prior to E1, buried outside his house in New Norn.
Nornians
A human tribe originally from the mainland of Tyve at the base of the mountains. The city of Norn was burned down ~25 years ago and the people left to build New Norn in the archipelago. They are now a relatively peaceful fishing people.

Squeaver
A creature reminiscent of a cross between a beaver and a squirrel. It’s large and fat and tends to live in trees.
Umtheran
The Umtheran species the Di'Nari who were changed when they saw the broken body of Umtheras, the God of Death.
Vanari
Race similar to high elves. Closest descendants of the Di’Nari.
Vey
A race created ~4200 years ago by Solarus after they touched Nabell. Defeated Kypheron ~4000 years ago. Erased when the Untelling took place ~2885-2850 years ago.
