Daenum Arum (a.k.a. The God of the Desert)

Daenum Arum was a formidable sorcerer who escaped the Cell during the Second Age. He gathered immense power and an army in the Veiled Lands of the western isles.

He orchestrated the Night of the Legion, a devastating attack on the capital of Rose that allowed him to seize the Books of First Magic. His reign ended only when Ankhrafel Theodrum of the Roseguard destroyed him.
