The Ethers are portals inside the Pantheon that lead to private districts. These districts are called Luaris and are no more than private planes of wealthy and powerful individuals. These planes are heavily guarded and cannot be entered without authorization. One can communicate with a resident of a Luaris via a Pagina. In a Luaris, wealthy individuals usually have people work the land and try to create an autonomous ecosystem, a mini world inside a mini world that provides them all they need, this is considered true wealth in Pantheon. Individuals rise to become lords of pocket worlds and achieve autonomy without the need of trade, it leads to isolated power as they try to become masters of their own small world. They hire the Baraxi to work the land.
