The different roads that connect the independent cities of Arnewynd's Endure, Spellwhisk, Howlstead, Gentlebreeze, Velvetglade, Tranquilpine and Fleetfoot are called the "The Free Roads". Although the Free Roads are relatively calm and peaceful, it is not uncommon to hear news about bandits, wild animal attacks, hyenakin, or even Void Echoes.

When the 152 ATC | Sevenfold Accords were signed, it was declared that each independent region would patrol their own part of the free roads, this deemed unpractical and so eventually the Voidbreakers considered this part of their duty, compensated by the Council of Sevenfold. Yet it is not uncommon to see Spellwhisk Knights or Velvetglade Crusaders to be on patrol in neighboring regions.

When the Voidbreakers Reformation of 239 ATC occurred, most mercenaries part of the Voidbreakers were left without a job, most of them joined the Free Roads Guardsmen which eventually took over this responsibility.
