Manticores are ferocious predator beasts with large claws, a huge mane and draconic wings. Their face resembles that of a man and with their sharp teeth they can tear their victims apart. They fight dirty and enjoy the taste of human meat. They rarely stray from their pride (their mate or cubs.) Manticores are not very intelligent beings but they can speak Common. They won't engage a fight if they don't think they can win. They'll weaken their prey first by launching their sharp tail spikes from large distance. However Manticores will refrain from killing, if their target serves another purpose they need.
