The Stewards of Solaris are an esteemed and ancient order of highly skilled individuals who work directly for the royal family of the Kingdom of Concordia, Dedicated to the worship of Radiant Solaris, their primary duty is to safeguard the kingdom from curses and dark threats that plague Ignisar. Members are often recruited from the top-performing students of the prestigious Cursebreaker Academy, and they are tasked with duties ranging from providing personal care to royal family, or the last Luminary of Maraya, to conducting research into mysterious afflictions. The Stewards' most sacred and personal responsibility is tending to King Anwar Orpaz and Einar Giedensera, however that last part is actually not information publicly shared.

Their daily work involves performing healing rites, applying soothing ointments, and providing physical and emotional support to the monarch, a duty they carry with deep reverence and personal commitment. While they are held in high regard, they have also faced public criticism, particularly for their decision to focus on the king's recovery rather than lead investigations into threats like the Cult of Flamespawn, highlighting the tension between their personal oath to the king and their broader duty to the kingdom.

The Stewards often operate in small, highly specialized teams of four, a structure deeply rooted in their worship of Solaris and ancient Concordian folklore. This practice is inspired by the folkloric tale of "Solaris and The Mischievous Mice," which describes the four prime elements working in balance to protect Ignisar from The Void. Each member of a four-Steward group is empowered by or specializes in the magic of a particular prime element, mirroring the ancient mythological guardians.

Fire: Tied to Solaris, the radiant protector, Fire Stewards often focus on leadership and nurturing the team's morale, while wielding strong fire- and light-based magic for purification and offense.

Water: Reflecting the mouse Sirena and the "mysterious waves," Water Stewards specialize in restorative healing, control over liquids, and fluid, re-directive fighting styles that turn an opponent's strength against them.

Earth: Embodying the mouse Gaia and the "lively vines," Earth Stewards are the bedrock of the team, focusing on powerful defensive magic and acting as a grounding force on the battlefield to protect their allies.

Air: Representing the mouse Aurora and the "daring stars," Air Stewards often provide a tactical overview, sometimes fighting from elevated positions, specializing in fast, elusive movements, misdirection, and divination to offer another perspective on the battle.

This balanced approach allows a single team to handle a wide array of curses and dark threats, ensuring they can adapt to any challenge in their mission to safeguard the kingdom.
