Discord RP #012-#013

Scene A | The Lone Rose

In this Discord roleplay, Rose returns alone to the Academy after the disastrous confrontation with the Subjurforged, emotionally shaken, scorched, and questioning what she experienced... Her sister Snow’s voice, the strange greying of Tayleon, and the whispered call of the Dark Idol, Mortemus.

Seeking peace of mind, Rose avoids her shared dorm and retreats to the library, where she overhears an awkward, yet intimate conversation between Villi and Esme about attraction and “pairing.” While skimming a book on Mortemus, Rose senses something deeply wrong—a snapping violin string sound—and her mounting stress causes her to reveal herself accidentally. Embarrassed and unsettled by Esme and Villi's attention, Rose flees the library.

Attempting to find Lorelai for guidance, Rose instead runs into Professor Askdyrnir, who coldly reprimands her and demands her presence for training the next day. Overwhelmed, Rose panics and rushes back to her dorm, briefly manifesting her golden wings without even realizing it.

Alone in her room, her emotions erupt into uncontrolled magic, knocking her belongings aside and revealing a new spell—Dancing Lights—within her Legendkeeper, tied to memory of practicing it with Snow. Casting the spell brings Rose calm and resolve as the lights briefly form a familiar shape, echoing her sister’s words: “You have to be brave, again.”

By morning, Rose feels lighter, more determined, and quietly recommitted to Harmonia and her friends, especially those imprisoned below the city. The scene closes with Rose alone in the dorm, aware of her companions’ absence, when an ominous squeaking and knocking begins at the common room door.

Scene B | Prison Talk

In this Discord roleplay, Thalga, Naomi, and Vita are held in separate but neighboring prison cells after Kaedlin leaves them behind to deal with the fallout of their actions. Though the cells are clean and oddly comfortable, the confinement weighs heavily, especially as Kaedlin’s risky warning and her attempt to keep Einar distracted linger in their thoughts.

Thalga examines her surroundings and recognizes draconic religious influences in the prison’s runes, hinting at the faith of the Uniter Siegfried. As night falls, her cell lights up like a starry sky, and she discovers a hidden devotional book, Pax Trium. Reading it, she learns about Unity Day and later encounters Harmonia’s Law of Final Witness, a decree that no one should face death alone....
