Let my radiance be your shield and my warmth your hope. For I am the Sun, the eternal guardian against the encroaching dark.
Even while I rest, in the darkest night, look to my reflection and know that I am ever watchful.

In the timeless struggle between creation and destruction, Solaris is the living manifestation of The Sun, a celestial protector whose divine energy guards the realm of Ignisar. He is a majestic feline, sometimes a mythical dragonne, born of The Spark that first brought life into existence. Orbiting around Ignisar, he serves as the ultimate warden against the corrupting influence of The Void, the endless darkness that seeks to consume all light and memory.
His faith is strong in lands like Concordia, where the commonfolk offer prayers to "Embrace the Sun" and where traditions like the Sunset Dance are performed in his honor.
An old saying, which existed even before the 011 BTC | Destruction of Maraya tells a simpler story of his vigil: "When the Radiant Cat's look away, The Mice come out to play". In this tale, three magical forces, Sirena of the waves, Gaia of the wilds, and Aurora of the stars, watched over Ignisar in his stead. The innocent actions of Sirena and Gaia, who filled the rivers and blossomed the forests, inadvertently allowed the shadows of The Void to grow, as every new light on Ignisar created a new darkness for it to inhabit.
It was the mischievous Aurora who dared to challenge this darkness directly. Inspired by Solaris, she captured his brilliant rays and released them into the night, creating intricate constellations. For the first time, Solaris felt truly acknowledged as their protector, intrigued and proud of the little mouse's bravery.
As a gift, Solaris took a lifeless rock from the depths of nothingness, smoothed it with his claws, and placed it in orbit around Ignisar. He named it "Luna"—The Moon—to serve as a mirror, reflecting his light during the night to keep the darkness at bay and to allow him to watch over the beautiful night sky the mice had created. Together, they formed a delicate balance, an eternal struggle where even the smallest creatures could make a difference in the timeless battle between light and dark.
