Mimics are strange predators that assume the form of mundane furnishings and household objects in order to attract prey. As a shape-shifting monster, it can disguise itself as any mundane object, appearing almost indistinguishable. Be mindful attacking a mimic directly, you might get glued stuck on them. Some mimics can have a simple conversation in Common but rarely respond. When they feel endangered they'll attempt to escape and take the form of another object nearby in attempt to confuse their opponent.
'Typical' Mimics
They prefer to attack when their prey is distracted, alone or helpless. Mimics completely devour and dissolve their victim, leaving nothing behind. Mimics have a strong self-preservation instinct. Their one purpose in life is to consume.
Black Ichor Mimics
These mimics are made by transforming typical mimics through current unknown means. Once transformed, any target killed by them isn't dissolved completely. They infect and kill humanoid creatures very fast, quickly causing them to reanimate into undead. Yet these Mimics are much more vulnerable to fire.
