Fallowbrae’s castle, though in ruins, retains much of its structural outline. Crumbled walls and moss-covered battlements conceal the skeleton of a settlement that once included homes, workshops, and a central keep. Despite evidence of violent conflict, no human remains have been found surrounding the castle. Abandoned armor, rusted weaponry, and fragments of artillery suggest a sudden evacuation or a mysterious disappearance of the inhabitants.

The site became notable in 239 A.T.C., when a scholar arrived to research the Chambet family, known for opposing the Ragnarthanes’ aggressive campaign in the Throne War. During the scholar's investigations, the scholar used stolen arcane pylons around the castle, creating a faint blue protective barrier. Though intended to safeguard his research, his actions became controversial, culminating in theft and murder.
The scholar's work, however, revealed much about the ruins, bringing to light both mundane and magical remnants of the past. Beneath the castle, explorers discovered catacombs where the scholar seemingly was performing a necromantic ritual, yet further details on the event were not documented.
