A deep, burnished ruby that when held, radiates a gentle warmth. Those nearby feel an instinctive sense of boundary—as if the air itself has learned discretion.

When activated, the gem allows its bearer to cast the spell: Lesser Private Sanctum, forming a compact ward that muffles sound, blurs observation, and discourages intrusion.

While the ward persists, the Ruby’s inner glow pulses slowly, like a watchful heart.

While attuned to the Sanctarubis, you can use an action to cast Lvl 3 | Lesser Private Sanctum without expending a spell slot or material components. Once this property is used, it can’t be used again until the ruby regains its magic.

The Sanctarubis regains its magic after being exposed to direct sunlight for at least 1 hour. Alternatively, exposure to the light created by a second-level spell, such as the daylight or moonlight spells also restores its use. The gem sheds dim light in a 5-foot radius while its magic is available.
