Fortified watchtowers and fire-beacon systems dot the pass, warning of approaching threats. Few travelers dare linger, but the settlement is essential for keeping trade flowing along the Dry Dry Whisker Route, a harsh yet necessary checkpoint between northern and southern reaches.
