Session 3 Summary

As the group takes a moment to recuperate, Grendel falls asleep for a just a few minutes, but during that little daydream, he thinks about his two companions, Kikita & Loren. They were travelling back to Snowpoint. Kikita was talking about a few interesting things, apparently there's a hidden observatory on the hill... And there's a dwarven mine filled in interesting onyx gemstones further within Borealreach territory. But... The daydream shifts, suddenly... his companions have disappeared, as if they never were there in the first place...

The group discusses their options about heading up the mountain. They need Korfel but he's in no shape to travel. He does inform that it would be a good option to bring a gift, or an offering to the clan and that it would be wise to bring the Pouchfoot. (Grendel)

Korfel mentions that Pouchfoots are somewhat 'off-limits' and cannot be harmed by the Southern Tribe, because without them the Theran race would not even have existed.

Torbin stays with Korfel while the others decide to hunt for an offering. But they unexpectedly have another encounter with Kiv the Manticore! The Manticore proposes that with their assistance they could deal with an Alpha Peryton, which would be an excellent offering to the Southern Tribe. When the group returns Korfel feels a bit better, but Torbin feels uneasy. He's been feeling a strange presence in the forest, yet he has no decided to go alone into the forest.

The group spends the evening preparing the Peryton meat into a very presentable offering. As the group heads to go to sleep, Korfel tells a little bit more the tribe, he promised not to tell, yet Grendel persuades him to say a bit more. There's an observatory up the hill, apparently it was known as "Meradith's Observatory". Why are the Southern Tribe protecting it? The name Meradith is known in Pouchfoot and Dragonfolk culture, she was an adventurer with great exploits, mostly lost to time by now.

Later that night, Myra cannot sleep. There's a strange force pulling her towards the forests. She does not quite understand. She decides to head into the forest alone within the shadows. In the middle of the woods, she encounters two strange individuals who refer to each other as "Four and Three". They mention Luna and Clarisse and wonder how the plans of One and Two are going. They have the same mysterious N symbol carved into their forehead. She witnesses Three receiving 'energy' from Four.

But Myra was now in a unique position, as "Four" was walking away, she decided to use Clarisse' mace to attack her, but to her surprise when she hit her, she shrieked and turned into a puddle of water and snow... What just happened...? Myra may think good riddance, but does she realize...?
