Vithalia "Vita" Stormborn used to be nobody of importance. Working different odd jobs that never lasted long, she was finally perfectly fine being a nobody. Among the townspeople that did know her, she was known as the clumsy one, or the Klutz. And that she was, clumsy. But not every mistake that resulted in getting fired or turned away at jobs was due to that personality trait, or the dreaminess that she was also cursed with. Vita's life was changed in an instant when her Luminary father took a sudden interest after discovering her arcane gifts...

Vita knew her powers had come from the Luminary that sired her, but no one else had to. So after years of struggle, she made her peace with not being able to hold a job, or having a seemingly harmless reputation. As long as they wouldn't go asking for her sire.

But then, after a disastrous day that involved an inn, a wrongly aimed sneeze and a blazing fire, that reputation changed. From the clumsy, no good girl she became the towns hero, saving countless lives in her attempt to clench the fire. She got lucky it quickly got around that the fire started in the inn's kitchen. And that nobody suspected she'd done it.

Until her father, who she'd never met but secretly always dreamed about meeting, found out about her powers and her "couragous" deed. Being a teacher at Cursebreaker Academy and knowing the Stewards of Solaris are looking for new members, he suddenly showed interest in his "long lost daughter". Hoping he can give more insight in her powers and how to control them, she allows him into her life. Only to instantly look up to him and wanting to earn his praise.

In the year 248 A.T.C, Vita will be enrolling into the second year of the academy instead of the first, meaning that she has a lot to catch up on. Besides the pressure from her new academic life, Vita also feels the immense pressure of having to prove herself to her father, maintain her reputation of folk hero her town bestowed upon her and find a way to control her wicked powers.

Although her mother wasn't pleased with the idea of Vita getting reacquainted with her father, she wanted her daughter to be happy. Still hurt to be dismissed and shunned all those years ago, she and her new husband moved away to Leónopolis, though Vita planned to stay. Vita's favourite childhood memory is her mother reading her stories, one of her favorites being "About a Woman Whose Child They Had Exchanged".
