Though boisterous and passionate, the Bearfolk live in balance with the land, hunting with reverence and honoring every life taken. The neighboring Bristlefur Highlands loom above and east, their jagged peaks and storm-wracked passes shaping the Bearfolk into a people as enduring as stone and as fierce as the winter winds. To outsiders, the Sanctuary seems harsh and unforgiving—but to the Bearfolk, it is sacred ground, a place where strength, spirit, and the wild heart of the north are one.
