Celebrations were held in Thornvale as an ancient portal was Reactivated. Envoys from all over kildar and beyond (including envoys from Baldurs Gate, Waterdeep and Neverwinter).
Adventurers were asked by the Fey to find an alternative travel route through the feywild, proving that the Portals aren't the only fast form of travel.
After a diffcult journey throught the feywild, they ended up at a haghut in the feywild swamps. They encountered two Hags and their baby. And found a black dragon chained in the basement of the hut. The adventurers freed the dragon, it ate the hag Nettie and escaped into the Feywild. They found Professor Prattleton was about to be turned into soup by the Hags, and freed him too. Then the adventurers ran away back to thornvale as fast as they could.
Upon learning of a Hag Presence in the Woods, the Eldritch Inquisition and Military Guilds assembled raiding parties. Adventurers traveled with these raiding parties back into the woods, but due to the Hags magic, lots of illusions and modify-memory spells the raid turned into a massacre with most of the troops dead, only the adventurers, the inquisitors Thalia & Vex and the leader of the Mercenary Guild surviving.
The inquisition swore vengeance upon the Hags.
