Flameveil is a deep, rich crimson fabric with gold veins that swirl across its surface, resembling the movement of molten lava. The fabric is soft and smooth but retains an inherent warmth, as though it has absorbed the heat of the flames from which it was born. When worn, it has a radiant, fiery glow that shifts like embers in the wind.
As the name suggests, Flameveil is highly resistant to fire, granting the wearer resistance to fire damage. The fabric also makes the wearer feel unusually warm, providing comfort in cold climates and helping to stave off fatigue in extreme environments.
Grown and harvested from the special fire-resistant Pyrothistle plant, which grows only in volcanic regions or on the peaks of active fire mountains. The fibers are then woven by skilled artisans using fire magic to reinforce the fabric's flame-resistant qualities.
