In this section players are able to add their backstories. Backstories can be as long or as short as you like.

Your character can originate from existing islands as described on this page, or your character may be from a different island, as yet unexplored. This island can be whatever you want it to be, but the moment people step off the island they conform to the rules of D&D and the limitations of our worldbuilding.

[e.g., you may have smartphones, but the moment they step off the island, these no longer work and loose signal. You may have airships, but they get lost in the clouds if they move beyond the confines of the island. Everyone might have an Intelligence of 20 on your island from birth - but your character didn't.]

PLEASE NOTE: Just because your backstory is on here, does not automatically mean it will be used by DMs or incorporated into the game. We have over 50 players and over 20 DMs all of varying levels of experience and engagement.

The best way to ensure your backstory is incorporated into the game is to be a DM yourself. Please speak to Callum if you are interested in having a go.
