Location Found: Sealed alcove within a ruined cave beneath Wyrmhollow Wood, formerly a containment site for a magically-bound undead tyrannosaur.
Description:
This ancient dagger was unearthed in a ritual alcove behind shattered glyphs deep within the cave. The blade is forged from an unknown black-red alloy, its surface cracked and veined like cooled magma. Despite the cave’s cold, the dagger radiates faint warmth, and the air around it wavers subtly—like heat mirage. The hilt is engraved with symbols of cracked earth and coiling smoke, evoking elemental or infernal origins.
A faint scorch mark was left where the dagger touched stone, hinting at dormant power or a volatile enchantment. Its presence in the alcove—alongside ritual offerings and a sealed scroll marked with warning runes—suggests it is more than a weapon. It may be a relic of containment, sacrifice, or an artifact tied to forgotten pacts.
