Our regular campaign sessions are scheduled to take place twice a month on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Sometimes, we can schedule extra sessions outside of our regular game nights if players are interested and available. These could be one-shots, side quests, or major story events that need more time to play out than we can fit into a single session. In addition, sometimes I will announce a special holiday session, where players can jump into the past and experience some of Elandorel’s most legendary battles and events firsthand. Any player from any campaign is welcome to join, and we’ll always announce them well ahead of time.
I really hope we can all make it to each session, but I understand life can sometimes get in the way.
To proceed with a session, we need at least 4 players (out of 6 currently in the game). However, if we're short on players, and the missing player's character plays a crucial role in the current storyline or if we're gearing up for a significant battle or wrapping up a module, we might need to postpone the session.
A character's fate is tied to the fate of the adventuring group, even if they are "absent", meaning if the entire party dies, that character will perish as well.
On occasions where we can't play the main campaign, we may play an alternate game (if I have time to prepare one). We may also play a board game.
If you anticipate being late, please inform us as early as possible. This way, we can decide whether to wait for you or to start the session without you.
Should we not hear from a player who is running late, we'll proceed with the game 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Similar to the policy for absent players, characters of late arrivals who miss portions of the session will not earn experience or treasure for the time missed.
Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and drinks to the sessions.
If you didn't get a chance to eat or pick something up, feel free to DoorDash to grab a bite. Everyone's welcome to join in!
Alcohol is also allowed, so if you'd like to bring something to share or for yourself, feel free.
Please inform the group if you have any food allergies, so we can make sure everyone enjoys the session safely.
Please wait for the DM's prompt before rolling the dice. This helps keep the game orderly and fair.
All dice rolls should be made openly, where everyone can see them, to maintain transparency.
If a die rolls off the table, please re-roll it on the table.
Should a die land awkwardly (cocked against an object or on an edge), the DM will decide if a re-roll is necessary.
Meta Knowledge: Players should avoid using information their characters wouldn't know in-game.
Player Interactions: Direct conflict or theft between players (PVP/stealing) is off-limits unless specific exceptions are agreed upon with the DM in certain scenarios.
Leveling Up: We're tracking progression through experience points. This means players might level up at different times, influenced by personal achievements and potential missed sessions.
I utilize AI as a tool to assist with graphics, proofreading, and organizing existing materials and creations. AI helps refine and clarify content, ensuring that information is well-structured and easily understood while preserving the original intent. Additionally, AI-generated graphics may be used to enhance visual elements of the game world. However, all core lore, mechanics, and creative decisions remain human-driven, with AI serving as a support tool rather than a replacement for original storytelling and design.
We use audio recording during game sessions solely for transcription and summarization purposes. These recordings help create accurate session summaries for the wiki, ensuring that key events, decisions, and character actions are properly documented.
Non-Commercial Use: The recordings are not used for any commercial purpose and will never be shared publicly.
Reference & Archival Use: Recordings are kept for archival purposes and may be used to refer back to specific sessions and scenes for clarification or fact-checking.
If you have any concerns about being recorded, please let the DM know in advance.
