A small, lone and active volcano located within the Ashendel Region. The volcano erupts with frequency, but its eruptions are small and fairly tame, causing lava flow, noticeable tremors and ash snow within the region and beyond.

Having existed for many thousands of years, the volcano has been instrumental in shaping the landscape of Ashendel and the fortunes of those who reside there. The region is renown for the bounty of its mines, as many metals and other riches can be found in the volcanic rock hidden deep beneath the hills and mountains of the region.

Not many dare to settle the slopes of the mountain itself, due to the frequent, small scale eruptions. Despite this, the area features the Obsidian Gates along with a small village within it's foothills, long guarded from the magma and other dangers of the area by old and powerful magics. Kobolds and other dangerous creatures can be found within the area, including fire elementals such as magma mephits and fire bats, especially near the volcanos summit or other areas where magma reaches the surface.
